Prudentialife Foundation, Inc. (PFI) and Haribon Foundation signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) last August 27.

The MOA is part of Prudentialife’s campaign “Caring for Creation”, an environmental advocacy to address issues of society.

Caring for Creation aims to call on everyone to be responsible stewards of the Earth which God has created.

PFI adopted two hectares of land at the Caliraya watershed in Cavinti, Laguna to plant 5,000 native seedlings from September to October 2008.

Haribon Foundation, an organization that is at the forefront of biodiversity conservation in the Philippines, will conduct orientation sessions to help employee volunteers understand the need to conserve our forests and offset carbon emissions that result from day-to-day activities.

Launched in February 2008 with education sessions conducted by Haribon for Prudentialife employees, their children and some beneficiaries, the seminars will increase awareness on the state of Philippine biodiversity and the need for action.
