Channels Marketing Division- Gearing for Domestic and Offshore Market Expansion


The Channels Marketing Division (CMV) headed by Vice President Gil V. Pestano has been a part of Prudentialife Market Resources Corporation (PMRC) for the past three years. CMV promotes Prudentialife products and services and supports general agencies and brokers in achieving sales production.

CMV attends IMG convention

CMV attended the International Marketing Group (IMG) Convention held in Boracay last September 21 – 23 at the Boracay Regency Hotel.

PMRC President Bienvenido S. Policarpio, PFIFI President Atty Raymond P. Navarro, together with their officers and staff attended the event.

CMV also participated in IMG’s Train the Trainers held last October 1 – 4 at IMG Center in Lahug, Cebu City.

The training was conducted by PMRC-Training and Development Department officers Ice San Pedro and Cherry May Magallanes.

The training aims to motivate and support the trainers of CMV.

CMV expands partnership with PARVENU

Piloted by Mr. Jermaine Ibanez of PMRC, CMV inks partnership with PARVENU.

The partnership opens new frontiers to Prudentialife paving way to reach more Filipinos here and abroad.

As a result, Prudentialife’s Wealth Builder will be bundled via the new Seafarer’s Booklet provided by Parvenu.

A market of around 600,000 seafarers is expected to add to Prudentialife’s Wealth Builder Fund Pension Planholders with extensions to their family members.

The program aims to integrate all the potential benefits and privileges the national government envisions to all migrant workers.

Future projects of the partnership will include Prudentialife products and services in the roster of benefits for PARVENU’s partners.

CMV expands partnership with PARVENU

CMV’s biggest expansion for 2007 is the installation of the Telemarketing Group last September 3.

The Telemarketing Group opened with 15 telemarketers and nine sales officers headed by Ms. Sharon Handang.The Telemarketing Group offered two Prudentialife products namely: PrimeLife and Wealth builder

Since the opening of the Telemarketing Group, CMV sales increased by 50% per month.
According to Mr. Gil Pestano, with the demands of expansion, they will be introducing another group to meet the proposed income for the coming years. “Sooner, another group will be coming in to help us hit our proposed income for the year”, he said.
