Touching Lives through CSR
Sharing its blessings with the less fortunate has always
been a part of Prudentialife's Foundation anniversary
celebration. And for its 29th year in the business, Prudentialife
lined up a series of outreach programs for communities
in need.
One of them is a medical mission in Sta. Rita. Kaybagal
in Tagaytay City. "Pinipili namin ang
komunidad na may mahihirap at di makapunta sa mga outpatient
consultation ng mga ospital kaya kami na lang ang nagpupunta
para mag-conduct ng medical missions." said Dr. Alvin
Cabral, Assistant Vice President of the Prudentialife
Healthcare Medical Division.
Doctors gave free consultation to patients, distributed
medicines and vitamins and conducted deworming for the
children in the neighborhood.
Earlier, Prudentialife Foundation officers and executives
made a donation to Tahanang Talangpas, an institution
that takes care of elderly and sick nuns at the Augustinian
Recollect Sisters home in Tagaytay City.
It also organized a fund-raising campaign for the victims
of typhoon Reming in Bicol by hosting the 4th Silver Tee
Charity Open Golf Tournament help on May 23 at the Philipine
Navy Golf Club in Taguig City. "If you
look at our vision-mission statement, we are operating
because we would like to help the Filipino family to have
a good life. And helping of course not only through selling
our products but sharing our time." Prudentialife
Group President Jose Alberto T. Alba said."
