Jose Alberto T. Alba - First LOMA Fellow

Jose Alberto T. Alba, President of the Prudentialife Group, was recently designated as a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute for having completed the requirements on LOMA Financial Services Education. Alba holds the distinction of being the first Filipino who has been awarded LOMA's newest professional designation - The Fellow, Financial Services Institute (FFSI). The award was conferred by Thomas P. Donaldson, FLMI, CLU, LOMA President and CEO, assisted by Joel Basarich, Ph.D., FLMI, ACS, ALHC, Vice-President and Managing Director, International during the 14th Annual LOMA/LIMRA Strategic Issues Conference on June 19, 2006 at the Hong Kong JW Marriott Hotel.

Founded in 1924 by US and Canadian insurers, LOMA is an international association through which more than 1,200 insurance and financial services companies from over 80 countries engage in research and educational activities to improve company operations.
