Gawad Kalinga continues
to transform lives with the cooperation of the Couples
for Christ and Prudentialife. Together, they are launching
GK-PAGASA which stands for PAaral, GAwad and SAgip to
help build a bright future for the Filipino child through
values-oriented educational programs. GK-PAGASA will
spearhead 3 major projects: a community pre-school program
to develop children (age3-6) and early literacy for
out of school youth (age 15 and above) as well as recognize
deserving SIBOL Teachers from GK Villages nationwide
under the CFC Educational Foundation, Inc., its social
ministry arm for family, youth and children activities.
The Prudentialife JATA-SIBOL Nursery School
at the Prudentialife Village in Baseco, Tondo,
Manila will serve as the pilot center for the GK PAGASA
program.
