Prudentialife-GK Launch PAGASA

Gawad Kalinga continues to foster hope and enrich lives with the cooperation of the Couples for Christ-Education Foundation, Inc. and Prudentialife as the first corporate partner. Together, they are launching GK PAGASA to help build a bright future for the Filipino family specially the children and the youth through values-oriented education programs. Prudentialife President Jose Alberto T. Alba also launched the Prudentialife-GK PAGASA project last April 4 during the GK Summit at the Meralco Theather.

PAARAL-BAHAY KARUNUNGAN (PBK)

A Reading Center at the heart of the community where people can read, borrow/return books, host book clubs, receive training from reading/literacy specialists. It also serves as a venue for one to one sessions on basic literacy and Non Formal Education especially children (ages 3-15).

GAWAD BAYANING GURO (GBG)

The SIBOL teachers in each village are the unsung heroes behind the pre-school program. GK PAGASA recognizes the efforts of the top 10 excellent SIBOL teachers by documenting their work with the children as well as the motivations and spirit behind the work that they do.

SAGIP BALIK ESKWELA (SBE)

To address the needs of the growing number of out-of-school youth (15 & above), Couples for Christ-education Foundation, Inc. aims to help adults through a literacy program that gives elementary and secondary certification to adults which is equivalent to an elementary and high school diploma.
