Trust Fund Reaches Php 14.96 Billion

As of March 2006, the trust fund of Prudentialife has reached P14.96 billion compared to P13.14 billion in March 2005.

Prudentialife President Jose Alberto T. Alba gave the assurance in an interview recently with ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) that the company would be able to pay its obligations to its planholders.

“Last year, we released over P2 Billion in terms of benefits. Ang trust fund ng Prudentialife ay lumalaki pa rin at kumikita ng magandang kita kaya that will assure the public that we will have enough fund to pay for our obligations,” Alba said.

Prudentialife has already disbursed over P7 billion in plan benefits for the past ten years.

In a related development, Assistant Vice President for School Operations Department Sol Indoyon said that the company has implemented a new payment program for its fixed-value education planholders for fast and efficient payment of education plan benefits.

“We have the Direct Deposit Program wherein we deposit the benefits directly to the bank account of the planholders,” Indoyon said.

This is part of the company’s continuing efforts to enhance its customer service.
